DESCRIPTION:Warragul Anglican Church is seeking an associate minister to jo
 in the ministry of its growing congregation. The mix of responsibilities f
 or this position is flexible and may include general pastoral ministry\, y
 outh ministry\, or children’s ministry\, depending on the experience\, g
 ifts and interests of the successful candidate.\nFor example\, this positi
 on could be:\n\nA generalist minister\, primarily focused on pastoral mini
 stry to adults\, but also overseeing a portfolio of either children’s or
  youth ministry\nA generations minister\, with responsibility focused on t
 he children’s and youth ministries at WAC\nA specialist children’s or 
 youth minister who will also preach and engage in pastoral ministry to the
  wider church\nAnother combination that fits into the Warragul Anglican mi
 x\n\nWe are open to discussing the best fit for each candidate.\nKey detai
 ls\n\nA full time position\, however a successful candidate may negotiate 
 a different load.\nOpen to candidates lay or ordained\, with a curacy as a
  possibility.\nRemuneration is in accordance with the determination of the
  Anglican Diocese of Gippsland which can be found here.\nOrdained minister
 s would be subject to licensing through the Diocese of Gippsland.\n\nKey r
 esponsibilities will be a subset of the following\n\nStrategically impleme
 nt the church’s vision and mission.\nLead and train the ministry teams.\
 nTeach and preach the Word of God.\nGuide and shepherd the congregation.\n
 Equip and mobilise the church for effective discipleship and mission.\nPer
 form general pastoral duties (e.g. leading services\, pastoral care\, bapt
 isms\, weddings\, funerals\, etc.)\nWork closely with the Rector and Paris
 h Council to ensure healthy alignment in church leadership and ministry di
 rection.\n\nEssential qualities\n\nBe gifted in teaching and preaching God
 ’s word with theological clarity\, gospel fluency and pastoral applicati
 on that strengthens the congregation's resolve for the faith and obedience
  to Christ.\nCommitted to the mission\, vision\, values\, doctrine and dir
 ection of Warragul Anglican Church.\nWell-developed communication skills i
 ncluding the ability to engage positively with adults and young people in 
 an age-appropriate way.\nCapability to coordinate and lead others to deliv
 er positive outcomes.\nEffective organisation and time management skills.\
 nAbility to manage\, develop and recruit volunteers\, recognising and deve
 loping people’s skills and callings.\nExperience in working collaborativ
 ely in a team and contributing to shared objectives.\nA commitment to pers
 onal discipleship\, an active prayer life\, and a willingness to share you
 r faith story with others.\n\nDesirable qualities\n\nHave obtained or curr
 ently working towards tertiary theological or ministry qualifications.\nOr
 dained minister\, or open to considering ordination.\nAt least 2 years exp
 erience in a similar ministry role (paid or volunteer).\n\nMandatory requi
